Dr. Miller is the Chief Medical Officer for Cross Creek Hospital. He proudly serves as the Mental Health Crisis Response Medical Director in San Antonio, Texas.  Dr. Miller is an Associate Professor and the Residency Training Director for Psychiatry at the University of Incarnate Word School of Medicine. He is the owner of Crosstown Mental Health and Managing Partner of Athra Systems which focuses on inpatient care, psychiatric consultation in the medical setting, and forensic consultation. Dr. Miller has been the principal investigator on over 80 clinical trials and has taught courses on inpatient Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology, Psychotherapy, threat assessment, and a wide variety of treatment-related topics. With 25 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Miller has held numerous leadership positions over the years and was awarded a Bronze Star for his military deployment to Afghanistan as an Air Force Psychiatrist embedded with the Army.
